At this time, the PS 9 "all-school" tours are now complete. PS 9 will be holding one final tour for those families whose children have qualified for the Gifted and Talented program (you will be asked to show your letter), and who have not already had the opportunity to see the school. Only these families can be accommodated.

The PS 9 Tour on April 29th is for qualified District 3 families only. Please note that we are NOT a citywide program and so the Office of School Enrollment will not accept families for PS 9 who do not reside in District 3. Many qualified families who live out of district are confusing PS 9 with PS 334 - the Anderson School, which is a Citywide School located in District 3. Please note that due to limited space, you will not be admitted to the tour if you do not reside in District 3 (proof will be required) and a score report qualifying you for placement here.

If your family qualifies to take this tour, you may register for the tour online. This tour will be held on Thursday, April 29 at 9:00 am. If you have questions or cannot register online, please contact our Parent Coordinator, Rita Yoskowitz, at 212-678-2813 ext. 1101 or 347-563-4382.

Please note that each person who wishes to take a tour must have a reservation. Names will be checked at the door.

The tour will begin at 9:00 am and end at approximately 10:00 am.

Children are not permitted to go on the tour.

We are located at 100 West 84th Street on the southwest corner of Columbus Avenue. Come in the entrance on 84th Street closest to Columbus Avenue. A PS 9 parent will meet you by the guard's desk and direct you to the tour.
