| How to apply to PS 9
Students applying for the September 2010 Kindergarten year must have a 2005 birth date. Both the General Education and Gifted & Talented programs require a separate application.
Visit our Registration page for Kindergarten ZONED Application details.
GENERAL EDUCATION PROGRAM No testing required for entry. Open to zoned residents. For more information regarding the admission of non-zoned students, visit the NYC Department of Education Kindergarten Admissions Web page.

PRE-K PROGRAM Requires no testing for entry; zoned residency preference. Pre-K applicants must have 2006 birth dates. For more information regarding Pre-K programs or how to apply, please visit the NYC Department of Education Pre-K Eligibility and Application Web page as well as our Pre-Kindergarten resource page.
