Parents of PS9, Inc.
Annual Fund Drive

In order to enrich our children's education, Parents of PS9, Inc. (the PTA) spends nearly $600 per child outside of the Department of Education provision. Income from Count Me In, the Annual Fund Drive for Parents of PS9, provides nearly half of the PTA’s operating budget, which pays for assistant teachers, Spanish, and many other benefits.

Your contribution helps pay for:
One assistant teacher in every classroom	Spanish Program
Chess Teacher and Supplies	Yard Coordinator
Babysitting during PTA meetings	Publication of the News@9 Newsletter
Library Resources	Music Materials
Art Supplies	Science Materials
Gym Equipment

To join, go to www.onecause.com and click Join. Select PS 9 (ID # 148116) to receive the contributions from your purchases, then shop through their site. You can access hundreds of your favorite leading merchant websites, stores and catalog and a percentage of each purchase goes right back to Parents of PS 9! Member merchants include Expedia, Gap, itunes, Shutterfly, LLBean, Oriental Trading Co, and many more. Each time you shop online, begin at onecause (click the image below to go there now).

Target - Take Charge of Education
	If you have a Target card or Target Visa Card, sign up for their Take Charge of Education program by going to www.target.com/tcoe. Target will donate 1% of your purchases made at Target or Target.com with your Target card, and ½% of all purchases made anywhere with your Target Visa card, to PS 9, once you register.

Boxtops for Education

Don't forget to keep bringing in those Boxtops! Also, check out www.boxtops4education.com where you can shop with various merchants who contribute a percentage to PS 9.

Look for "Boxtops" coupons on products ranging from General Mills cereals to Kleenex tissues. Cut them out and drop them in the file folder attached to the wall in the entrance to the school.

Look for the monthly clip and save worksheets in your child's backpack!
